I’ve been around awhile. In fact I predate the contemporary Christian music movement by a number of years. The Church of my youth had a pipe organ and every pew had a hymnal, so you can imagine my amazement when I bought the first Praise Album and popped it in my cassette player for the first time. It was love at first listen. My whole world shifted and I never looked back.

I am a recent transplant to Tennessee. The majority of my life so far has been lived in New England. Things are bigger here and its been quite an adjustment. For example, the Church I now go to has a weekly attendance more than the entire population of the town I grew up in. I am constantly feeling amazed.

For some reason I can’t quite understand, at this late stage in my life I appear to be experiencing a calling. I can’t figure out any other explanation for the recent turn of events in my life, but what could the Lord possibly want with a seventy three year old man like me?

I have spent several months looking at seminary, but in the application for what seemed like the best school I was asked how I thought a masters degree would help my career. I was so astonished and dismayed I was at a complete loss for words.

So I decided to build a web presence instead. I like praise and worship music and would enjoy the possibility of sharing that love. Already I have discovered a wealth of new music and lesser known artists with a real heart for worship. It’s a journey and I’m excited to share it with you.
